He was born and educated in York. He graduated from York Suburban High School and received a B.A. degree in Biology from the University of Delaware four years later. In 1973, Dr. Dellinger graduated second in his class from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD) and also a Master of Science degree in Pharmacology. He was a member of the OKU dental honor society and was awarded the American College of Dentists Award.
Dr. Dellinger furthered his dental education in the Air Force after dental school by taking a Hospital Dental Residency where he gained further training in the dental specialties with emphasis in oral surgery, crowns and bridges, periodontics (gum treatment), root canal treatment, and dentures.
He is also a member of a study club called Dentists for Comprehensive Care and regularly takes a variety of courses to further his training and skills.
I am a graduate of South Western High School and a dental assistant graduate of YTI Career Institute. I am the first smile you see when you walk in the door. I’ve only been a member of the staff since 2013, but Dr. Dellinger, staff and patients have made me feel like family. I married my high school sweetheart and we have two beautiful grown daughters and a son-in-law and son-in-law to be. I am active as a deacon in my church, sing in the choir and enjoy doing solo work as well. “The Lord’s Prayer” is my favorite to sing.
Come in and see us, we’ll give you a reason to smile!
Dental hygiene is my profession. I graduated from Dallastown H.S. and Temple University Dental School. I attended St. Mathews Lutheran church and am currently a member at New Hope Bible Church. I enjoy continuing education courses and sharing the new technology and advancements in dentistry with our patients. I'm thankful to have the privilege to serve "Dr. D." (who Truly loves what he does) and his patients, who are like family to me. I've had the honor to serve some of our families for three generations. Everyday I work I am blessed by Beautiful Smiles. I enjoy serving the Lord, my family and friends, singing, dancing, travel, roller coasters, sunrises, sunsets, and Ben & Jerry's and Star Bucks ice cream.
I graduated from York Vo-Tech in 1988 and have been a dental assistant ever since. I've been with Dr. D for over 15 years. I like the fact that I'm needed to make the day run smoothly and feel appreciated by the patients, Dr. D, and the rest of the staff. The work is interesting because every day is different. I enjoy learning new procedures and anticipating what is needed whether it's implants, orthodontics, crowns, etc. I am the mother of four boys, five if you count my husband. One of my sons is a Marine, another attends Penn State, and the other two attend school in the Northeastern School District. We love animals and our family also includes three Rottweilers and four cats. I enjoy music, dancing, football, entertaining with pig roasts and swimming parties.
I love the summer!
I'm a graduate of Central High School and Allegany Community College. I have been a practicing Dental Hygienist since 1984. I work part time for Dr. D and started on my mother's birthday in December 1985. I'm also a full time school hygienist in the Red Lion School District. I reside on a small farm with my husband Tom, daughter Kasey and son Daniel. We have five horses, two older goats, chickens that lay green eggs, two dogs and one house cat. I enjoy mucking stalls and occasionally get a chance to ride my horse. Each year I enter a cross-stitch piece in the York Fair. When I have free time, you'll find me flying into schools as the Tooth Fairy and educating our future leaders. I have lots of fun dental facts. Ask me about them! Our office goal is to create BEAUTIFUL SMILES for our patients.
Smile – sunshine is good for your teeth!
A goal of mine is to support the staff and let them know how much they are appreciated by my husband, the patients and me. This long standing staff has been so dedicated and hard working and has truly made a difference in the lives of so many. I also feel my goal is to support Dr. D. He has wanted to be a dentist since the 6th grade and practicing dentistry is his passion. On occasion I fill in for Carol and try not to make too much work for her when she returns. All of us try to troubleshoot with regular meetings in order to improve our practice. I enjoy taking courses and trips. We have three pretty neat, yet different daughters whom we love spending time with whenever possible. Life is an adventure with each of them. They are truly a gift from God and suspect I am not the only parent who has said that about their kids. We have also been blessed with wonderful patients who keep the practice rewarding and interesting. Personal interests also include computer related activities, photography, and teaching and learning with my 5th/6th grade Sunday School class.
